Description:
The Cottage (2 rooms available) A 250-year-old gardener's cottage and stands in its own grounds of 10 acres close to the town of Tavistock. We have two beautifully furnished bedrooms. The rooms are family/twin and a four poster room, both have their own spacious private bathrooms with free standing bath and separate shower. Both bedrooms have colour TV, tea and coffee making facilities, and central heating. The majority of our bacon and sausages are from our own rare breed, free range pigs who roam our orchard and wood. Our eggs are free range from our own hens. Please inform us if you have any special dietary needs. Dinner is available by prior arrangement (please bring your own wine). On the lake there is a breeze house at the end of the small jetty, ideal for enjoying your glass of wine and watching the sun go down.
Location:
We are located only a 10 minute walk away from the boundary of the 368 square miles of Dartmoor National Park and also the same time from the picturesque town centre of Tavistock where there is a market most days of the week in the town's ancient pannier market.
