Preferred contact - telephone for immediate response.

Location:

"Morland is a delightful, peaceful and unspoilt village midway between Appleby and Penrith, nestling in the Eden Valley between the Lakes (Ullswater) and the Pennines. Morland is one of the oldest villages, having grown up around the beck and Saxon church on its small hill, the oldest in Cumbria dating from the 8th Century. Mill Beck Cottage, on Water Street, faces the beck, with open fields beyond. The bedrooms of this old traditional cottage overlook the stream with its ford, footbridge and grassy banks where swallows swoop in the summer and you may see a heron dining on minnows. The beck is also home to families of ducks. See website for location and directions. Ideal for those travelling to and from Scotland.
