Description:
16th Century Thatched Farmhouse on working farm set in a hundred acres of own land overlooking the beautiful Marshwood Vale and hill forts of Lamberts Castle and Coneys Castle. We have three bedrooms, one large double (king) en-suite, one large double (king) with shared bathroom (both these rooms have exposed brickwork and beams), and one standard double with shared bathroom. All rooms have colour televisions, sofas, tea/coffee making facilities, hair dryers and clock/radios. You can enjoy lovely country walks or sit in our gardens and enjoy the peaceful countryside. Full English Breakfast is served in our Dining Room each morning.
Location:
Set in the idyllic countryside of West Dorset, Harmshay Farm overlooks the spectacular Marshwood Vale. The farm is situated in the middle of a vast network of public footpaths, surrounded by native wildlife. If you would like to explore, a pack lunch can be purchased from the farm. For those of you who do not arrive on foot, there are spacious parking facilities. The area is bordered by the Jurassic Coastline of Lyme Regis, which was recently awarded the status of World Heritage Site for it’s outstanding natural beauty and historic fossil finds. Just 7 miles away, Lyme Regis is a great place to enjoy a day on the beach, or a delicious evening meal of local seafood.
