All rooms have tea and coffee making facilities, central heating throughout, hair dryers, iron available. Sorry no pets and no smoking although an ashtray is provided outside. We have private parking and a room for drying wet walking gear. A choice of traditional Scottish breakfast or Continental breakfast, Vegetarians are also catered for.

Location:

Graeme and Bronwen welcome you to Stronchreggan View, a large modern family-run guest house. Our guest house is an ideal base for touring Scotland's Highlands and Islands. Located only one mile from the town centre we have stunning views across Loch Linnhe to the Ardgour Hills and Stronchreggan, a forever changing view. We are situated in the Highland Town of Fort William which lies at the base of Ben Nevis, Britain's highest mountain (4406 ft). Beautiful Glen Nevis runs between the mountains to the most spectacular scenery, waterfalls and walks. Rob Roy and Braveheart were also filmed here. Glencoe is only a short drive away and offers more spectacular mountain scenery and excellent rock climbing and hill walking. There is an interesting visitors centre here with a wealth of information on the "Glencoe Massacre". Fort William itself has a variety of restaurants and Public Houses to suite all tastes and budgets. Also, a pool and leisure centre for those wishing to relax or excercise. We also host the World Championships for Downhill, Cross Country and 4x4 mountain bikes every year at Aonach Mor where a gondola runs up to a Restaurant, with great views of Ben Nevis and surrounding area. Bike hire for cycling in the area can be done locally.
