Location:

An elegant, detached Georgian villa built in 1820 and completely refurbished recently. This family run establishment provides easy access to the city centre, offering our guests a convenient choice of the Edinburgh castle, Holyrood Palace, Dynamic earth, the new Scottish Parliament and Edinburgh's two World Heritage Sites, the Old and New Towns. The house is situated on the main A701 road into town from the South and is only 1 mile from Princess street, and is a 10 minute drive from the City bypass (exit Straiton Junction). The house is also on the main bus route providing access to any part of the City and its many and varied attractions. The Royal Commonwealth pool and Leisure Centre is a mere five minute walk from the Guest House and another few minutes takes you into Holyrood Park and the more energetic may wish to venture to the top of Arthur's Seat, Edinburgh's famous volcanic hill. From here there are wonderful panoramic views of the City and Forth River and the famous Forth Rail and Road Bridges.
