Built around the year 1914, the current owners Anne and Eddie bought 69 Cromwell Road, Burntisland in August 2001. Following a continuous programme of improvements from the day of entry, in June 2005 Anne and Eddie finally felt able to offer Bed and Breakfast accommodation for the discerning client. Anne and Eddie view the quality of food as one of the highlights of a stay at 69 Cromwell Road. A chef for over 40 years, Eddie is well placed to ensure that the food is memorable. Green Bedroom - Front facing double bedroom with en-suite shower, television with built in Freeview and DVD player - from £30.00 per person per night. Blue Bedroom - Double bedroom with a front facing bay window, en-suite shower, television with built in DVD and Freeview - from £32.50 per person per night. Red Bedroom - A luxurious double bedroom with bay window, en-suite bath and shower. The television with DVD and Freeview has a USB port and card reader from £35.00 per person per night. Lounge - Can be accessed through the main entrance and to your right. Tea and coffee making facilities are available in all the bedrooms and wireless broadband can be accessed free of charge for guests. A child under 5-years of age sharing a room with parents is free of charge. Children between 5 and 11 years of age sharing a room with parents £10.00.
Location:
On the main East Coast Railway line, Burntisland is an excellent choice for easy access to Edinburgh (35 mins), Dundee (45 mins), Perth (65 mins) and Glasgow (85 mins). The Rosyth to Zeebrugge ferry port is only 15 minutes drive away. The Kingdom of Fife is blessed with a host of excellent golf courses and the world famous Old Course in St Andrews is only 55 minutes drive away. For those who enjoy walking, Burntisland is on the Fife Coastal Path route and for those who welcome a short but slightly more demanding trek, the Binn Hill will reward with spectacular views over the Forth. If swimming is a favourite pastime, the town has it's own swimming pool and leisure centre. You will be made extremely welcome in our beautiful home, where we will strive to exceed your expectations, because your stay is our business.
