The Farmhouse Guest House is a family run Visit Britain 4 Star with Gold Award establishment, where you will enjoy a personal, warm welcome with all the comforts of home. We offer a high standard of accommodation in an easy, informal atmosphere. There are three En-Suite bedrooms, one twin and two double rooms, one of which is on the ground floor. All rooms are well furnished with comfortable seating, colour TV, DVD, radio alarm and hairdryer, plus plenty of bathroom accessories and a well stocked hospitality tray. Downstairs is a dining room and a lounge for guests to relax in and where you will find books, magazines, maps and tourist information to browse to plan your stay in the area. We offer a hearty breakfast served at a time to suit your needs. There is a wide choice of locally sourced food including fish. Location:
The Farmhouse Guest House is located in the peaceful village of Belford, 1/2 mile from the A1 between Alnwick and Berwick upon Tweed. This is a perfect location with easy access to Lindisfarne (Holy Island), the Farne Islands and the Northumberland National Park. Within a few miles are many magnificent Northumberland Castles, The Heirtage Coast and gardens including Alnwick Gardens and Cragside at Rothbury. This is an ideal base for golfing breaks as there are a dozen golf courses within this area. Belford has a selection of eating places only a short walk from your accommodation. Within a few miles there is a wide range of restaurants and country pubs.
