Your hosts, Margaret and Jim offer a warm friendly welcome to their home. Here you will find a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere, ideal for rest & relaxation with traditional Scottish hospitality and comfort at its very best. Albannach is a newly opened B&B and all the bedrooms have been refurbished to a high standard. Quality, spacious accommodation is offered in this detached 1870's Victorian cottage. All rooms have hair dryers, tea/coffee making facilities, colour TVs and DVD players. Complimentary toiletries are supplied in all bathrooms. Wireless Internet is available free of charge and there is even a small private fully fitted kitchen available for guest’s use. Double, twin and family rooms are available and are all non-smoking for the comfort and safety of our guests. We have a ground floor room available and cyclists are very welcome. A full Scottish breakfast is included or a continental option is available if preferred.
Location:
Close to all amenities and Loch Lomond National Park. With ample private parking, it is an ideal base for touring. Albannach is situated within a mile of Loch Lomond and is a perfect location from which to view some of Scotland's main tourist attractions. It has excellent transportation links including a bus stop and taxi rank within 50 yards. The train station is a four-minute walk away and trains to Glasgow - the shopping capital of Scotland - take less than forty minutes. There are ten whisky distilleries nearby and a huge array of outdoor activities to enjoy - including, golfing, fishing, walking, sailing, paint-balling or even quad biking.
