Failte (Welcome in Gaelic). The Isle of Skye is situated off the West coast of Mainland Scotland and is the largest and best known of the Inner Hebrides. The island is a place of extremes with plummeting sea cliffs and imposing headlands sit beside white coral beaches and black sandy shores. Whether its just the two of you or the whole clan, the Isle of Skye is an amazing place to visit. The Isle of Skye Music Festival and The Pipe Band Festival are not to be missed. The island is a nature lovers paradise with bird watching being a big feature.
Caledonian MacBrayne operate ferry services to and from Skye on routes from Armadale to Mallaig and from Uig to The Western Isles. In addition there are CalMac ferries serving Raasay from Sconser and The Small Isles (Canna, Rùm, Eigg and Muck) from Mallaig.
