Isle of Barra, Isle of Benbecula, Isle of Eriskay and The Uists
The Isle of Benbecula lies directly between both North and South Uist whilst the Isles of Barra, Eriskay and the Bishop's Isles lie below South Uist. North Uist and South Uist both have nature reserves and are full of ancient monuments - many dating back thousands of years. Sollas Golf Course is a 9 hole links course on the North West of North Uist over looking the Atlantic. Benbecula is a small island sandwiched between the Uists and linked by a stone causeway. If you want to get away from it all, visit the tiny Isles of Barra and Eriskay for their empty golden beaches, wild flowers, sandy grasslands and rugged interior. The Isle of Barra is one of the most attractive little islands in Britain and recently came first in a 'Most Beautiful Island' competition.
