The City of Aberdeen has a wealth of shops from the latest designer fashions to traditional Scottish arts and crafts. With days out including visits to The Aberdeen Art Gallery with inclusions by impressionists Monet, Renoir and Pisarro, Macduff Marine Aquarium featuring marine life from the Moray Firth, Scotlands largest bay or for the Whisky enthusiast, a visit to at least one of the distilleries on the only Malt Whisky Trail, you can be sure of finding plenty to see and do.

 

Moray is a relatively unknown area of Scotland but the visitors who come here fall in love with its many gems and favorable climate and would like to keep it a secret. With Moray being small and mainly rural, there is a surprising wealth of visitor attractions from a steam railway to a specialist cashmere mill, from a salmon smokehouse to an ice-house. The Keith and Dufftown Railway is an eleven mile line linking the World's Malt Whisky Capital, Dufftown, to the market town of Keith. The line, which was reopened by volunteers during 2000 and 2001, passes through some of Scotland's most picturesque scenery, with forest and farmland, lochs and glens, castles and distilleries. The area's abundant wildlife can be glimpsed from the train, including deer, foxes, buzzards, heron, and much more.
