The Old Pump House

Description: The Old Pump House is a comfortable Georgian home of character built around 1750, originally a farmhouse and named after the historical town pump which stands in front of the house. Now owned by Marc James an antique dealer and Charles Kirkman an ex banker, The Old Pump House has 5 double or twin en-suite bedrooms including 2 family rooms and 1 four poster. All with central heating, wireless internet connections, colour TV, tea and coffee making facilities, CD/Radio alarm clocks and hairdryers. Delicious English breakfasts using local organic produce served in the delightful pine shuttered Red Room, overlooking the peaceful garden. Vegetarian or fish dishes are served on request. Pre booked evening meals are available to order. The Old Pump House is non smoking throughout and there is parking for six cars on the forecourt.

Location: The Old Pump House is situated in the historic market town of Aylsham, close to the North Norfolk coast, the Broads National Park and Norwich with its famous gothic Cathedral. Also in close proximity are several outstanding stately homes and National Trust Houses, including Blickling Hall, just a mile away from the Old Pump House.
