Location: The Red Moss is located by Abington M74 junction 12 or 13. Northbound or Southbound leave Motorway at M74 Junction 13 take B7078 north for exactly 4 miles Red Moss on the left. From M74 Junction 12/A70 take B7078 South for exactly 4 miles on the right. Southbound leave M74 at Junction 11 past Happendon Services to roundabout at A70 turn right for Douglas ½ mile turn left on B7078 then 4 miles. The B7078 is the Old A74 and runs parallel with the M74. In the 1940’s and 1950’s there used to be holes in the road, today its excellent.
