Well situated the property has 12 delightful eateries, 2 bike hire and three horse riding stables within easy reach of the hotel. The mainline railway station of Brockenhurst is just five minutes walk (easy walk but can't hear trains) from the hotel. Five minutes walk to open forest.

Location: Centre of village of Brockenhurst. Brockenhurst is one of the three new forest villages that allow the ponies into the centre of the village. In May the mares come into the village with their foals and can often be seen throughout the summer grazing on the green opposite the Cottage.

What you should know: is that Brockenhurst is a thriving bustling village and the property is on one of the roads into the village. Whilst there are very few lorries going past there is often quite a bit of car traffic going past at peak times on the single carriageway road.
