Mayfield Bed and Breakfast

Description: Mayfield has three rooms:

Double / Twin room: overlooking the garden front garden with view of Aonach Mor. Available as double or twin bedded room, Ensuite shower, toilet, washbasin and shaver point, Wardrobe, Tea/coffee making facilities, Hair dryer, Television and Radio alarm clock.

Double room: overlooking the garden, Ensuite shower, toilet, washbasin and shaver point, Double bed, Wardrobe, Tea/coffee making facilities, Hair dryer, Television and Radio alarm clock.

Single room: overlooking the front garden and Glen Loy Hills. Single bed, Washbasin and shaver point in room, Separate Private facilities of shower, toilet, washbasin, Tea/coffee making facilities, Television, Radio alarm clock, Hair dryer and Wardrobe.

Dining Room: view of Ben Nevis through patio doors. Enjoy a hearty breakfast to set you up for the day to include your choice of: Fruit juice, cereals, yoghurt, porridge, bread, toast, tea, coffee, bacon, sausage, eggs (fried, scrambled, poached, boiled), mushrooms, tomato, hash browns and black pudding.

We are open to guests from 1st February to 30th November. Sorry we do not offer accommodation over the Christmas / New Year period. All accommodation is on the ground floor. Mayfield is non smoking throughout, Full central heating, with individual temperature control in each room, Smoke alarms fitted, Ample off-road parking, Secure cycle storage, Dining room with views towards Ben Nevis. Awarded "4 stars" by the Scottish Tourist Board.

Location: Mayfield B&B is situated in the Torlundy settlement, close to Fort William - This Highland town, along with the Lochaber area, is now bidding to become Britain's "Outdoor Capital". The house itself sits in the shadow of Ben Nevis (making is an excellent base for the climb) and is only a short distance away from the winter skiing area and mountain gondola of Aonach Mor. Walking, fishing, horse trekking, watersports, can all be easily arranged locally and the area and wildlife including red deer, golden eagles, otters, seals, migrating whales can all be spotted in the Lochaber area.
