Barnsmuir Farmhouse

Description: Accommodation comprises of a large double room with a king size bed with a sea view. Another double room that also has a single bed therefore able to accommodate 3 person in the one room. All rooms are maintained to a high standard. All rooms are centrally heated making your stay a comfortable one. Each bedroom has a colour TV, clock radio and tea and coffee tray. Hairdryer and ironing facilities are available. The house offers superb views over the Firth of Forth to the Isle of May. The farmland adjoins the coastal path and guests staying in the farmhouse are able to benefit from their stay by enjoying walks over the farmland. Breakfast is served in the dining room again offering superb views to the Isle of May whilst eating your traditional breakfast, continental, porridge or fish or what every may take your choice to set you up for the day ahead.

Location: Set 1 mile from the village of Crail is Barnsmuir, a traditional and spacious Jacobean farmhouse dating from 1790. Situated in a pleasant rural surrounding on a 500 acre farm growing broccoli, wheat, barley and also home to some ponies and cows. There is plenty of safe parking for all vehicles. The village of Crail offers a scenic harbour, one of the most photographed in Scotland. Many historic buildings, various shops, a pottery and museum. There are plenty of walks including the Fife coastal route. Crail has 2 golf courses, the well known Balcomi Links and the Craighead. The Old Course at St Andrews is only 10 miles from Barnsmuir.
