Description: This delightful 17th Century town house has recently been restored and in 2005 won a Pride of Place award from the St Andrews Preservation Trust. Two twin bedded suites both en-suite with private sitting rooms enable guests to relax and enjoy a quiet stay in the heart of St Andrews. Rooms are spacious and are tastefully decorated and a great Scottish breakfast is served in the cosy dining room. Increasing repeat business is testimony to how guests have enjoyed their stay. We would like to welcome you to our house. Location: Old Fishergate House is situated in the heart of St Andrews in the old fisherman's part of the town. It is a stones throw from the castle, adjacent to the Cathedral and harbour is a 10 minute walk to the Old Course and a 5 minute walk to the shops, restaurants, University and Byre Theatre. Park the car and you can walk everywhere during your stay. St Andrews is served by train (Leuchars) which is about 3 miles away and there is a bus station in the centre of town. Edinburgh Airport is about an hour away by car. |
