The Glenora

Description: The Glenora Guest House, previously known as the Glenora Hotel, has been awarded 4 stars by VisitScotland and is recommended in the Michelin Guide 2008. Our rooms are furnished and decorated thoughtfully and luxuriously. We offer a wide selection of locally sourced and organic produce in our dining room. The Glenora Guest House hotel provides excellent accommodation and service at a reasonable price - in the very heart of the city.

Location: The Glenora Hotel is conveniently located close to Haymarket train station, near to several major bus routes (50 yards from the inexpensive Edinburgh Airport Bus**), and within 10 minutes walk to Princes Street, the main shopping street in Edinburgh. Situated in the city centre, at Haymarket, the eco-friendly Glenora Guest House, Edinburgh is close to the city's excellent shops, the financial district, the Edinburgh International Conference Centre (EICC - a 5 minute walk from us) the Airlink bus stop and the top tourist attractions. It is in the ideal location for business travellers and for Scottish short city breaks. For guests travelling by car, parking is usually available on the streets in front of and close to The Glenora. It is free to park overnight from 18.30 until 08.30 and all day on Sundays. Daytime parking requires the purchase (from one of the many parking ticket machines) and display of a ticket between 08.30 and 18.30 pm from Monday to Saturday. There is also limited parking available at the nearby Haymarket Station at a cost of £6 per day
