Description: Are you sick of arriving at your B&B to find it is not quite what you had hoped for? We have stayed in many B&B's over the years as well as some of the best hotels in the country and know what makes a stay disappointing, and what makes us want to return. We hope we have addressed those things here. Our ensuite bedroom is large and airy with a proper full sized bathroom with shower cubicle, bath and twin sinks, not just a corner cut off the bedroom, you won't have to sidle round doors and furniture! Our other two bedrooms share another full sized bathroom and again are large airy comfortable rooms. Our aim is to make you feel at home, but without the daily chores, if you feel like a visitor we are not doing our job properly, we are people with a conscience, we try to recycle wherever possible, we use ecological products wherever possible. We have an extensive music collection which you are welcome to listen to and have an excellent and varied library of both textile books and fishing books as well as paperback novels which you can swap for your own read ones. Location: What makes a good bed and breakfast? We think the clue is in the title, a good nights sleep and a good breakfast. We have an on going programme of improvements which include new beds, handmade Organic cotton bed linen, super hypo-allergenic duvets and pillows in a quiet cool environment. You will be encouraged to chill out and repair your soul. If this means staying in bed until 2.00 pm then no problem, (though of course we won't be making the bed up with you in it) we can arrange spa treatments for you and encourage the use of natural therapies to help you unwind. You can even sleep in our domed Nomadic tent during the summer months if you would like to. Hopefully this will be available this year. |
