The village of Godmanstone is at the head of the valley and is only ten minutes from the county town of Dorchester, renowned for its museums, country life style shops and historic tea rooms, a county much loved by the writer and poet Thomas Hardy. Dorchester and the surrounding area offer a wide range of activities with ample golf courses, fishing, shooting, walking, bird watching, horse riding and its situated only ten miles from the award winning sandy beach at Weymouth, where there are all the seaside facilities to enjoy, alternatively take a stroll along one of the Jurassic Coastal paths, whatever you decide we would love you to relax with us in the heart of Dorset. |
