Description: Your accommodation is in one of our 6 self-catering holiday cottages, which are on the south facing slopes of Dartmoor National Park, overlooking the South Hams majestic undulating countryside. All cottages are very well equipped and have WiFi access and satellite Digi boxes. Please note breakfast is not included. Ivybridge has several shops which can provide everything for a great Devon Breakfast. We have our own water supply from a borehole supply water from Dartmoor. Well behaved dogs welcome, please enquire about our policy. Plenty of space in the grounds to relax to enjoy the peace and quiet of Devon with garden areas having locally sourced table and chairs overlooking the South Hams and the sea. The grounds are maintained in an environmental way to encourage wildlife. Ask to see our "Wealth of Wildlife " folder specially prepared by ecologists from the Dartmoor National Park. A short drive from the beaches and rugged coastline of South Devon. You have so many opportunities for walking South Devon ; coastal strolls, wood valleys, estuaries or the open spaces and Tors on Dartmoor. If you prefer cycling there are off road routes such as The Plym Trail / Camel Trail or several well sign posted routes around the lanes. Off road cycling is also well catered for. Excellent bird watching and wildlife sites are within easy reach. Riding, Golf, Surfing, Tennis, and Fishing are possible in the local area. You can easily visit National Trust Properties such as Saltram and Buckland Abbey or other attractions in Devon and the South West such as The National Marine Aquarium The Lost Gardens of Heligan or The Eden Project. Location: Ideal location for a relaxing stay or as a base for touring South Devon and Cornwall. Exeter, Plymouth, Dartmouth, Salcombe, Bantham, Burgh Island, Torbay and Tavistock are less than half an hour. We have a local rail station in Ivybridge, a regular bus service to Plymouth and Torbay and airports in Exeter, Plymouth and Bristol. The national cycle route 2 passes within 600metres |
