Description: John and Diane Ware extend a warm and friendly welcome to all visitors to Hunters Moon a 17th Century cottage on the edge of Bridestowe village. Originally two workers cottages built of local stone and cob Hunters Moon has been sympathetically extended to provide modern day comforts but still retaining the charm of days gone by with oak beams and inglenook fireplaces with their original bread ovens. We offer Bed and Breakfast accommodation with home cooked food using local produce where possible and our own fresh eggs and homemade preserves. Location: Bridestowe is a small rural village nestled in the West Devon countryside on the very edge of Dartmoor National Park. Being centrally located all parts of Devon and parts of Cornwall are easily accessible. Bridestowe offers the walker and cyclist wonderful surroundings being situated on both the Two Castles Trail and the National Cycle Network the Granite Way and has a 17th Century Inn, a 15th Century Church and a General Stores with Post Office. |
