Description: Denton house is a large 17th century house modernised to 20th century comforts but still retains its character with a new extension. Situated in the unspoilt village of Hesket-Newmarket it is an ideal base for touring the lakes and borders and for fell-walking on the northern fells, it is also a perfect stop over en route to Scotland from the south.

Location: We are situated in the village of Hesket-Newmarket next door to the Old Crown pub and brewery. We are mid way between Penrith, Keswick and Carlisle.
