Location: The Craigielea is a family owned 3 star Bed and Breakfast which is situated in the centre of Galashiels in the beautiful Scottish Borders. There are many things to see in Galashiels and surrounding areas including, Abbotsford House, once home to Sir Walter Scott, Old Gala House, (situated only a few minutes from us), The Border Abbeys, and much more. Galashiels is situated on the Southern Upland Way and is central for golf and fishing facilities in our area. There are golf courses in Galashiels, Selkirk, Melrose, Hawick, Ashkirk, St Boswells, Peebles, Lauder, Duns, The Woll, Kelso and Jedburgh. The River Tweed runs through most Borders Towns and permits can be arranged through The Border Angling Centre in Galashiels.
