Miller House

Description: Miller house is a grand Victorian 10 bedroom house with a variety of rooms available including singles, doubles & triples. All of our rooms are en suite with their own television and tea/coffee making facilities. The rooms are all spotlessly clean, warm and comfortable. A family room is also available which has one double and two single beds. We also have a room situated on the ground floor which has its own entrance and a separate bath and shower. This room is suitable for people with mobility difficulties. We have a loft conversion which is completely self-contained with a bedroom containing 2 double beds and a sitting room with a sofa bed (a comfortable one!) and a bathroom. There are a further 5 bedrooms on the floor below which vary in size, accommodating 2-4 people. On the ground floor we have 1 bedroom. We often accommodate large parties for weddings or sporting events and we try to make their stay as much fun as possible. Breakfast - We pride ourselves in our delicious well cooked breakfast which is served in our comfortable dining room. Local produce is delivered fresh daily and our sausages are homemade by our butcher Joe. We can cater for vegetarian or special diets and offer you with a continental option if desired.

Location: Miller House is a large Victorian bed & breakfast situated close to both the town centre and the seafront of Ayr, South Ayrshire. We are 4 miles from Prestwick Airport (where the Ryanair flights land). There is a train service from the Airport to Ayr every 30 mins. The station is 5 minutes walk from Miller House. A taxi from the Airport to Miller House would cost approximately £7. Ayr is a busy small town with plenty of shops, restaurants and pubs. It's the preferred destination for people who want to take in the local historic sites such as Alloway (Rabbie Burns birthplace) and Culzean Castle. Ayr also has good transport connections to Arran, Glasgow and Edinburgh which are popular day-trips. Golf is extremely popular in the area and we have many courses the best known being Royal Troon and Turnberry. We are a member of Golf South Ayrshire who run the municipal courses which we can book for you at a discounted price.
