Description: Balmoral Suite: Justifiably the premier room at the Old Manor. Light and airy yet quiet and relaxing. Tastefully decorated with tapestry and baroque light fittings the room has beautiful sea view over the Firth of Tay to the coast of Fife and St. Andrews. Blair Suite: The largest bedroom at the Old Manor. This room is normally considered our 'family' room and can comfortably sleep three or four people. Period Furniture and fittings in the room enhance the outlook to the Panbride church where religious gatherings have been held for over 800 years. A combination bath and shower in the en-suite adds to the versatility. Crathes Suite: The blues, yellows and greens of this brightly coloured room are reminiscent of the beautiful flowers found in the castle gardens at Crathes near Banchory. A co-ordinated en-suite bathroom and tasteful decoration compliment this room overlooking the garden and town of Carnoustie. Sit and relax in the evening sun. Dunnottar Suite: Like its castle namesake further along the coast this easterly facing room has views over the sea and coast to Fife. This spacious room has been redecorated for the 2004 season. With the complimenting en-suite combination of shower and bath, this is just what you need to relax in after a hard day's holiday. Glamis Suite: With outlooks over the Angus Countryside this is a twin room with individual brass beds and a dedicated private bathroom. The predominantly lemon and pastel colours in this room harmonize with the original fireplace that epitomizes the period of the house. Location: Within an hour's drive you have access to some of the best courses in the country if not the world. We have two Open Championship courses, Carnoustie and ST. Andrews, on our door step as well as a number of qualifying courses. If you prefer parkland courses your choice is almost unlimited. You can have an energetic or a relaxing a break as you wish, but if you decide on taking some exercise then the area has lots to offer. With easy access to all areas of Scotland you are spoilt for choice on how to spend your time. Whether you want to try something new or to test your existing skills you will find something to suit. |
